A full-flavored decaf that doesn't taste like an afterthought. This Honduras coffee is decaffeinated using a water process and produces a clean, sweet and smooth cup with plenty of body. A good choice when you want coffee later in the day without giving up the coffee part.
Mountain Water Processed Decaf -> The green beans are first steamed to prepare them for caffeine extraction.
They’re then treated with a water-based solution already saturated with soluble coffee compounds. Under carefully controlled conditions of temperature, pressure, water flow, and vacuum, caffeine is drawn out of the beans.
After extraction, the beans go through a controlled three-stage drying system and are polished before being shipped to get roast. This process will remove 97% of caffeine and will leave an excellent flavor.
